Professor Atul Malhotra is a board-certified pulmonologist, intensivist and Research Chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He is active clinically in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. In the sleep clinic, he provides a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with sleep-related disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy and sleep disorders associated with medical or psychiatric conditions. He has a special interest in the treatment of sleep apnea.
Dr. Malhotra is the recent president of the American Thoracic Society. He has taught and presented his research on sleep-related disorders locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. He has published more than 300 original manuscripts in leading journals. He currently serves as Vice Chair of Medicine for Research and has authored over 900 peer-reviewed publications, including more than 550 original research articles.

She has 20 years of HEOR experience within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Kimberly received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Butler University then went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy at the University of Southern California. In addition to her current sleep and respiratory medicine research at Resmed, she has published HEOR studies for multiple other diseases including bipolar disorder, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases in peer-reviewed journals.
